Grand Opening Expanded Gallery 209, Friday Feb. 2

Gallery 209 is expanding! After a year in its current location, Gallery 209 is moving to a larger space and expanding its group of artists from 12 to 22!

The Gallery will be at the same address--Artists and Makers Studios 2, 12276 Wilkins Avenue, Rockville, MD 20852--but will be in a much larger gallery on the third floor. As we have been doing for the past year, there will be new art every month so always something great to check out.

The grand opening will be February 2, 6 to 9 pm. Join us!

We are very pleased with our roster of artists—all are award winners with work found in many collections across the metropolitan area and beyond.

Both 2D and 3D artists are featured. Media such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, collage, mixed media, encaustic, ceramics, terracotta, and wood are all represented—a visual buffet for sure!

Gallery 209 Artists are:

Marcia Bhorjee Sally Davies Jamie Downs Natalie Falk Janet Fox Cathy Hirsh Jim Hoehn Hiral Joshi Judith Kornett Angela Lacy Geri Olson William Peirce Jeanne Powell Barrie Ripin Roxana Rojas-Luzon Ann Schaefer Patrick Sieg Suzanne Siguenza Julie Smith Vicky Surles James Vissari Patricia Zannie

Along with the new space, the gallery will be launching an expanded communications and outreach program, including Saturday afternoon programs featuring artist demonstrations and discussions. Announcements coming!

Gallery 209 artists are always in the gallery during first Friday receptions, 6 to 9 pm and as well, every Saturday, noon to 4 pm.

Gallery 209 is pleased to be a part of the Artists and Makers Studios community—the winner of Bethesda Magazine’s 2018 “Editors Pick” and “The Best Place to Experience Art” Awards.
